How many inches will I gain with GetUP training?Progress varies between athletes. Depending your fitness level, GetUP athletes see between a 2-6 inch increase in their vertical within the first 6 months. This program isn't magic. You still have to train HARD. Your progress all depends on if you're following program consistently, communicating with me as much as you can, and putting in the work day in and day out. If you do that, you WILL see progress.
-
Do I need access to a gym/equipment?Access to a gym/equipment and a basketball court is ideal to make the most gains possible. Specifically a barbell, dumbbells, a squat rack, a bench, an open area to do plyometric movements, and a basketball court to perform your max effort jumps. However, if you can't get access to a gym or equipment, I can create your program to be bodyweight only! You can still see gains with just bodyweight training but obviously not as much as training in a gym with equipment.
-
How do I know if this program is the best fit for me?GetUP Elite is heavily individualized. This training isn't a cookie-cutter program on a PDF that every single athlete gets. Every single athlete is different in so many ways which is why I'd create a personalized program tailored to YOU based on everything you tell me on our consultation call. I'd create your program revolving your work schedule, your team practices, your injuries, your current fitness level, and everything else going on in your life!
-
Can I see progress as a beginner?Yes. It doesn't matter what level you are as an athlete. You WILL definitely see progress.
-
What types of athletes do you specialize in?I train athletes to not only jump higher, but to increase their performance in whatever sport they're competing in. I mainly train jumping/dunking athletes, basketball athletes, and volleyball athletes.
-
What makes you qualified to coach athletes how to jump higher? In my own vertical jump journey, I was able to achieve a 41.5 inch vertical and an 8% body fat with average genetics. I started as an average athlete from a 26 inch vertical and a 15+% body fat. I went through the trials and errors and experimented with countless training methods on myself over the course of 4+ years to find out what worked and what didn't. Throughout my journey, I studied and educated myself on the topic of sports performance and jump training and applied that knowledge to my athletes to MAKE SURE they see as much progress as possible. In terms of certifications, I graduated with a BASc in Kinesiology and a Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma with Honours and have a CPT-NASM certification.
-
Can I still do this program if I'm injured?GetUP Full Access will consider your injuries. I'd create a rehab program for you based on your current injuries and/or injury history. The goal is to get you 100% healthy before having you perform the harder vertical jump training. GetUP Basic does NOT account for your injuries.
-
Can I still do this in-season?Yes! Based on scheduling of your team practices, games, and the intensity of your sport, I'll create your program accordingly to still make sure you make the most gains possible while still staying healthy.
-
What's the difference between GetUP Elite and GetUP Plus?GetUP Elite athletes get access to everything I offer as a coach including: an individualized program, 24/7 messaging, unlimited 1-on-1 video calls, jump + lift technique breakdown, accountability, program adjustments, and more. Training will have you progress long term. GetUP Plus athletes get access to a structured 32-week program with no individualization or direct coaching from me. You'll get access to the app, monthly group calls with me to ask questions, select resources, and a community forum where I'll answer your post! Find out more about the differences in the 'Programs' section.
-
Can I cancel any time?Yes! You can cancel both GetUP Elite and GetUP Plus any time. Just make sure you're ready commit before joining. If you’re hoping to jump higher in just 1 month, this isn’t the program for you.
-
How much does it cost? There are 2 different services: GetUP Full Access and GetUP Basic. GetUP Elite pricing varies. I'll give you more information if you're the right fit. GetUP Basic is $68 as a one-time payment for 10 weeks of training. See the 'Programs' section for more details.
